Sportscast Episode 1

I have been looking at doing a new podcast along the lines of my favourite stuff, things i like to talk about. I decided to give it a try and this is the outcome. The podcast is a mix of sport,tech, gadgets and web based stuff...hope you enjoy. you can hear this on the onsug network a place packed with good podcasts by people who care.

This is going to be a sportscast and also tech, gadgets and the world wide web reviews. The premier league in England a brief run through of the current situation. Major League Baseball, brief coverage of the state of play at the minute and a story which is well known about a sports fan  who made a big mistake during a play off game. Tech News...a guy with a downloading fixation. My first meeting with an IPad..very positive review, excellent case for the IPad with a keyboard attached. IPad rival, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, looks good but why buy that when you could get an IPad ? Apple trying to get a patent so they can control the product they sold you......Big Brother? New 3D products on the way. Google Goggles coming to IPhone. New Firefox looks interesting...coming soon. New rss reader that looks a good piece of software.  Music site that finds music from all over the net. Everyone knows Spotify for your music but has a new addon which can incorporate your music library.

Naomi Campbell and her appearance at the blood diamond trial. Robbie Williams gets married( big deal) The Beckhams ...what I think of them. Major League Soccer, my thoughts on sport and what I watch. The rip off that is Lost. Toy Story 3 review, very expensive to see a 3D movie these days. Crazy air steward leaves his job in the best way possible. Oldest woman in China disappears, oldest man in China has been dead for 30 years....hmmmm. How to die young ...just eat a burger in a sugar bun. Take.fm good for torrents, coda.fm good for music. I have become a grandad at a very early age.  Benefit cheats playing the system to get massive amounts of money for nothing. David Beckhams sister is claiming benefit too.

Hospital visit and my illness. Alex Jones....does he really care or is he just out for himself.  Apple bashing time as more products are on the way...all of them already out there. Deluded mourners at the funeral of Raoul Moat (the gunman who killed himself) we have to sort out the benefit system in my country or we are going down the pan. Kanye West twitter fan sick as a parrot, is twitter on the way out?  Human League and the eighties revival in music. TunerFreemc  a good program for media center if you have no tv tuner card.

Trying to solve the file problems, Alex and his show" Into The Ether",problems with accents. Limp Bizkit, tribute for heroes "wish you were here". A- Team review and the thoughts  on wether you are almost brainwashed into liking movies and other media. New strongest beer after a couple of weeks. Bejewelled Blitz i have over 1 million coins. I bought a new DAB radio which was really awkward to set up. More news on London trip and my phobia of poor hotels. Watched an episode of the Hotel Inspector(good show)  My trip to Dublin and the story of the strange hotel. Second apple store opening on the 7th August in Covent Garden, i will be sure to check it out. Google Trends is a good site for finding the latest hot topics and a chance to go back in time too. Internet is just far too big and it's full of shit sites. Ebookshare.net is a good site for getting magazines.

Annoying speed cameras could be no more, Mp's expenses scandal and the aftermath of it all, more people murdering their families for no apparent reason. Are the pressures of money and life sending people over the edge. The strongest beer in the world served inside a squirrel. I am proved right....again as the guy who killed his family had debt problems. Jailbreaking an ipod or iphone and the ease of it. Apple lose fair usage court case, probably means more expensive devices in the future. Better Of Ted and 30 Rock good comedies.

This is a list i found in my local newspaper, i found it head scratching to find the i phone ahead of the internet in the list. Surely the most important thing in the last fifteen years at least has to be the internet, it has revolutionised our lives...that has to be the coolest thing around. Without it i am not doing what i am doing right now!!
